The village of Candes-Saint-Martin is located on the banks of the Loire, near the city of Saumur. It is a small, character-rich village known for its architectural and historical heritage. Visitors are immediately charmed by this village out of time. Slightly elevated on the Loire hillside, it offers a beautiful panorama of the river. Candes is also surrounded by three renowned vineyards: Bourgueil, Saumur Champigny, and Chinon.
