Clos de la Dioterie from Domaine Charles Joguet offers a complex nose (shut your eyes, imagine an early morning stroll in the forrest of Chinon!) It is an an organic red wine, made of this beautiful density that suits bottles built for the keeping. Full-bodied, with power and elegance, aromas of beautiful black fruits, woody flavors tending towards tobacco and smoke. Nice length. The Cabernet Franc gives here a perfectly silky, rich and opulent wine. The Clos de la Dioterie of Domaine Charles Joguet? And if we were at the top of what the Chinon wine region has to offer?
