Château Soucherie deploys its 28 hectares of vines in the heart of the Anjou-Saumur wine region. The winery offers a wide range of wines among the following appellations : Savennières, Cabernet d'Anjou, Coteaux du Layon.
Remarkable wines, unanimously praised by critics. During your visit you will be offered to taste wines of the following type : red, dry white, rosé, sweet, sparkling, … A delightful tasting experience, because the wines proposed by the winery are remarkable for consistency and quality. They are regularly awarded for this reason. On top of wine tasting, Château Soucherie offers other wine-related activities and visits at the winery. Château Soucherie was founded in 1952.

With 28 hectares of vines located in the heart of the Loire Valley near Angers, Château Soucherie produces wines from Anjou and Coteaux du Layon (and its magical enclaves of Chaume and Quarts de Chaume). Château Soucherie also has 2 small hectares in the Savennières appellation, the “Clos de Perrière”. Those who have had the chance to taste this nectar will understand why we mention this :)In terms of location, one could not ask for a better spot in the land of sweet Anjou wines : in the middle of the vineyards, a unique panorama is revealed over the Layon valley and its surrounding villages.Château Soucherie has a long history. Historic property of the Dukes of Brissac (whose castle is only a few miles away – really worth visiting also), the Château Soucherie was built at the end of the 19th century .For the past ten years, the Béguinot family has been at the head of an exceptional estate committed to a high-quality wines … and hosptality. The Château Soucherie welcomes you in four magnificent guest rooms, modernly renovated with respect for the original architecture. The perfect wine getaway during your stay in the Loire Valley.

Château Soucherie produces wines from different Loire Valley appellations such as Savennières, Cabernet d’Anjou, Coteaux du Layon. The vineyard is cultivated according to the principles of sustainable agriculture which only uses phytosanitary products to treat the vines when necessary, and not systematically.
