Where is Coteaux du Layon?

It is a Loire Valley wine. Does that help?
The answer

Coteaux du Layon is located in the French Anjou wine region, 150 miles south west of Paris.

The vines grow on the banks of the Layon river, hence the name. The Layon river valley runs from the south of the Maine-et-Loire department until it merges with the Loire, about fifteen kilometers south of the city of Angers (capital of Anjou). The appellation Coteaux du Layon extends over twenty-seven villages, the best known of which are: Beaulieu-sur-Layon, Faye-d’Anjou, Rablay-sur-Layon, Saint-Aubin-de-Luigné, Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay and Rochefort-sur-Loire. To visit the Coteaux du Layon region, you will need time. Because it will be an opportunity to discover the entire Anjou-Saumur region which produces other very fine wines. Among which very fine sweet wines, such as Coteaux de l’Aubance or Bonnezeaux.
