Coteaux du Layon is a sweet wine, so more of a dessert wine but not only : it is also a wonderful aperitif wine! For the meal, it will go perfectly with desserts (a pear tart maybe?), poultry or veal in cream. On the cheese side, Coteaux du Layon goes very well with blue cheese. To be served between 10 and 13 °C (50-55°F).
