The wines of Montlouis-sur-Loire are marked by subtle aromas of white fruits, flowers, and honey. In the mouth, they are fresh and lively, with a beautiful acidity. The sweet wines, on the other hand, reveal notes of candied fruits, quince, and honey, as well as a rich and velvety texture.

The AOC Montlouis sur Loire produces white wines exclusively, but in a wide variety of styles: sparkling, dry, semi-dry or sweet white wines. The appellation was created in 1938, and comprises more than 40 wineries spread over a vineyard of 385 hectares.
